Have you ever pondered?
The question of,
How life can take an unexpected turn.

The one that makes you question yourself,
Your identity,
Or the things you could probably be.

Reality can be honestly brutal.
Taking its toll,
On the person you thought you were.

But if you could be honest,
Would you rather be the same?

People don’t really change,
They just display different sides,
It’s the idea of one’s true self,
That put the world on your shoulders.

So let it go,
For what’s meant to be,
It will be.
