It was raining too that day. The morning when I decided to leave your city. Our conversation from the night before was still vivid. And my eyes were still swollen from too much tears.

But that’s exactly the reason why I had to leave that next morning. When the rain just fell without reason. And I didn’t have time to overthink everything.

It couldn’t be any other day. Even if I had to drag my steps on a muddy street. And the rain constantly poured like it was September.

While our memory was still fresh, I had to leave your city. Because only then, I could be finally free.
